This scholarship gives financial aid to
promising elementary and/or secondary
orchestral instrument/vocal students who need assistance in
meeting the cost of private lessons.
Scholarships will be awarded in the amount
of $100 or more depending on the need, merit and number of
students applying.
For 2010, forty-one applicants
were awarded a total of $10,000
in financial aid to these promising
elementary and secondary music
students who need assistance in meeting the cost of private
lessons.
2009 awards totaled $6300
to assist thirty-one students
in covering their
2009-10 music studies.
In 2008, thirty-nine students have received
notification that a major portion of their 2008-09 music lessons will
be paid for as $7300 in scholarship monies have been
awarded.

Musicians' Professional Scholarship Fund Specifically for highly
talented, motivated student musicians who want to pursue a
career in music, this program provides scholarships to study
with a Philharmonic musician. Scholarship recipients are
selected through a competitive audition process and must
demonstrate both musical talent and financial need. Scholarship
